  	Esther Butler Roth passed away peacefully at the Astoria nursing facility in Sylmar. Her loving family had gathered from points near and far: children Cissy, Marcy, Rob, Jerry; daughter-in-law Cornelia; son-in-law Robert; grandchildren Alana, Belinda, Jonathan. She was a wonderful mother and a marvelous classical pianist. She filled our lives with music and love. She joins beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Robert S. Roth, at Mount Sinai, Hollywood Hills; service in Tanach Chapel at 10:00 a.m. on February 17, 2010. Published in the Los Angeles Times on February 17, 2010.
